Crystal is the first person I’ve ever done photos for nearing the end of autumn. If I’m being honest, I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure how early the sun would set and what to expect with the weather conditions in the Midwest.
A week prior to Crystal’s maternity session, we received a couple of inches of snow, which is normal in the Twin Cities during this time of the year. However, the day before the session, all the snow melted away. While it was windy and cold on the day of, we were surprised with some sunshine and were thankful for it!
Two things I love about Crystal is her can-do attitude and patience. I’m so glad to have clients, like Crystal, who chooses to brave the cold and trust me to capture such special moments. I could probably say I wouldn’t be as courageous as Crystal to be outside for an hour and a half in 27-degree weather getting my photos taken if I were to be carrying another human inside me.
I should also mention she wore a dusty purple dress and white shawl that complimented her personality incredibly well, and that I loved so much! So on top of a chilly day, major props to this stunning momma-to-be!
Crystal, it was such a pleasure photographing such a sweet season in your life! Your children and baby girl are so lucky to have you as their parent. Cheers to an exciting and new chapter in your story!
